ANIMAL CROSSING: NEW HORIZONS Stitches VILLAGER GUIDE

0

Stitches has appeared in a number of Animal Crossing games, including Wild World, and New Leaf. In this Animal Crossing: New Horizons Stitches Villager Guide we’re going to explore everything there is to know about Stitches. This will give you a comprehensive understanding of just who this cub Villager is.

It’s possible to get Stitches through an Amiibo card, but he’s still worth 15-20 million Bells, or a few thousand Nook Miles Tickets. This is probably because of how rare non-animal Villagers are in the game.

Who is Stitches?

Stitches is a cub Villager who is clearly based on a child’s toy bear. That bear may be made up of several other bears, but it is a child’s bear none the less. It’s though that the reason that his home is filled with children’s furniture and toys is because he’s just an amalgamation of various discarded childhood bears. But that’s quite a creepy thing to think about for too long.

Looking at Stitches, you wouldn’t know that he’s somewhat of a rarity. This is probably why he’s so desirable. He’s one of the few Villagers that isn’t actually an animal. Being a bear made from other toys, he’s just an object that’s been brought to life. Still, he’s nice to have around.

Birthday

Stitches’ birthday is on February 10. Make sure you visit his house on the day, because he’ll be holding a party there. It’s important to make the most of this opportunity to bond with him, because it’ll pay off in the long run when it comes to gifts and help.

Stitches’ Personality

Stitches is a lazy Villager. This makes him pretty easy to get on with, because he’s such a laid back dude. He’ll talk to you all day about resting and eating, and that might be a dream if you enjoy that kind of thing. He even loves fishing, which is great if you need company while collecting new fish.

Stitches might offend the jock Villagers you have on your island, because their lifestyles revolve around fitness and being active. Of course, he’ll get on well with all the other lazy Villagers. With them he actually starts to talk about comics and superheroes, which is really cool to see inside a game like Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

His personality also allows him to get on with peppy, smug, normal, and sisterly Villagers. However, he’ll clash up against cranky and snooty Villagers, who disagree with his lazy lifestyle.

Stitches’ House

The exterior of Stitches’ House is fine. It’s a house. But the interior is an absolute nightmare. It seems like all of the bears that Stitches is made from have some sort of need to be loved again. As a result they’ve completely surrounded themselves with children’s toys.

Even the wall is Playroom themed, as is the flooring. I find it a very unsettling place to be. But it’s a small price to pay to have one of the most sought after Villagers in the world on your island.

Facts About Stitches

The Animal Crossing: New Horizons community tends to latch onto certain aspects of Villagers. With Stitches, they latched onto the fact that he comes out with some of the weirdest things. If he doesn’t notice you, he’ll also just babble or sing to himself, for a very long time. This video is the best one I could find that does him justice.

That’s all there is to know about Stitches. If you think that there’s something we missed about this teddy bear reject Villager, then please do let us know in the comments.

How to Get Legacy Skins in Dead by Daylight – Not Any More

0
dead by daylight how to get legacy skins

Legacy Skins are somewhat of a bragging right in the Dead by Daylight community. Unfortunately it’s no longer possible to get them, but it was once.

Those who have them covet them, showing them off in every match possible to those who can no longer earn them.

In this guide we’ll talk through how to get Legacy Skins in Dead by Daylight, how it was possible, and what you can do today as an equivalent.

How to Get Legacy Skins in Dead by Daylight

As I mentioned at the start, it’s no longer possible to get Legacy Skins in Dead by Daylight.

These items were awarded to players who reached prestige level on various characters in Dead by Daylight before patch 1.3.0. this patch was released in November 2016. The deadline to earn Legacy Skins was November 24, 2016.

Prior to this update, it was possible to earn one prestige clothing item every time you reached prestige level with a character. Over time this would result in you earning an entire Legacy Skin.

The reason that the developers made this change is because there was a colossal grind to earn these skins.

They wanted to revamp the in-game systems, and Legacy Skins were removed as a part of the new mechanics.

It’s also worth noting that a number of Legacy Skins were never even available on consoles. This means that the majority of Legacy Skins are owned by PC players.

If you’re curious about what Legacy Skin items there are, check out this database.

None of these items will ever come to Dead by Daylight ever again. They are part of the game’s time limited history. It is possible to earn them through save data manipulation, but this will get you banned from the game almost immediately.

What Can You do Instead?

Just because the grind to earn Legacy Skins is gone, it doesn’t mean that there’s nothing to work towards in Dead by Daylight.

On the contrary, the game has a number of different areas in which you can earn progress, each of which will earn you in-game currency, and automatic rewards.

First there are the levels on survivors and killers. These levels apply specifically to each character, and will allow you to level up their Bloodweb, opening up new abilities and perks to take forward into future games.

Next there is your Player Level. This is awards various useful items to purchase perks that you can use in the game. This is generally the level that will matter most to you, since you’ll see it climb ever higher over time.

The Rift

Finally there are the seasonal levels. You have The Rift, which is the Dead by Daylight equivalent of a battle pass, and The Compendium.

The Rift is packed with rewards to earn for each new level, and you can purchase the premium pass to earn even more rewards.

The Compendium is comprised of Tomes, which are the lore of the game. Here you unlock lore by completing challenges.

It’s more of a way to ensure you’ve always got an overall goal to your time with the game, instead of just playing for the sake of it.

Through any of these current progression methods you can earn new cosmetics, or the in-game currency to buy new cosmetics.

This is currently the only way to earn new cosmetics in the game. However, every now and then there is a new limited time event.

Within these events you can earn new gear that is specific to the event, and will never appear again.

These are the events to play if you enjoy owning this exclusive content. But you’ll need to work for it.

If there’s anything that you think we missed in this guide, please do let us know in the comments. Do also drop a comment if you’re one of those smug players with a Legacy Skin.

Breakpoint Bipod Location in Ghost Recon|Where to Find and How to Use it

Breakpoint Bipod Location in Ghost Recon, this is what this guide is about. If you were looking for this answer by a search, you find the right page. Keep reading below to learn about Bipod and breakpoint location

AI teammates have completely changed this game. It’s a lot easier, and more enjoyable, with those NPCs helping you out at every step.

However, there’s still one item that all players need to make the most of sneaking around bases whilst picking off enemies from a distance.

In this guide we’ll cover where to find the Ghost Recon: Breakpoint Bipod attachment, and how to use it.

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint Bipod Attachment – Where to Find it

Breakpoint Bipod Location in Ghost Recon|Where to Find and How to Use it

As you can see, you’ll get the Bipod attachment from the Seal Islands province on the map. Specifically, you’ll find it at a compound that’s called Fuel Storage.

Be warned, Fuel Storage is no cakewalk. The place is guarded by soldiers, drones, and some automated turrets too. However, being stealthy will play to your hand, especially with AI teammates.

The best thing to do is to head to the northern section of Seal Islands with a helicopter. You can pick one up as you leave Erewhon.

It’s also important to have the Parachute perk unlocked, because that’s how you’re getting in.

You want to fly up as high as you can, and look for a collection of cylinders to the northwest of the location. Jump and parachute down into that area.

Sidenote

If you don’t have the Parachute perk unlocked, don’t worry. Just fly to a nearby area, without alerting the guards, and sneak your way in. If I’m honest, this is how I’d prefer to approach the base, but you do what you have to.

Once you’ve landed, take out all the guards you can see. You don’t want to get spotted whilst using your drone to analyse the area, or just while you’re aiming at another soldier.

With AI teammates this should be easier, but be sure to keep them on a tight leash. Don’t go loud unless you fancy fighting some drones.

The Bipod attachment is in this area, towards ground level and near the water. Once again, make sure you clear out all the guards, you don’t want to get spotted.

Only then should you open the crate and claim that awesome attachment. It’ll be permanently unlocked for all of your sniper rifles, which is why it’s a good idea to head out and pick this up pretty early on.

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint Bipod Attachment – How to Use it

Using this attachment is pretty self-explanatory. You need to open you menu and head to your loadout.

From here you can enter the gunsmith, and change out the attachments on each weapon you have equipped.

If you’re playing with some deeper immersion settings enabled, then you might have to travel back to Erewhon before you can do this. It doesn’t delay you too much, particularly if you have a mission to return there anyway.

That’s everything there is to know about the Ghost Recon: Breakpoint Bipod attachment.

It’s one of the most useful attachments you can get for your sniper rifles, and will make them far more stable to aim with.

If you’re just starting out in your journey with this game, I can thoroughly recommend getting this attachment early.

If you think there’s something that we missed, let us know in the comments.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Marina Villager Guide

0

Here in our Animal Crossing: New Horizons Marina Villager Guide we’re going to give you all of the information you’ll ever need to know about Marina. As the pinkest octopus Villager in the game, she certainly stands out, but that colour is only skin deep. With this guide we’ll explore her personality, likes and dislikes, and hopefully give you a much better understanding of who she is.

Marina has actually been a Villager in the Animal Crossing series since Animal Forest e+. She reappeared later in Animal Crossing: wild World, City Folk, and even New Leaf. As a result, you can probably pick up an Amiibo card to get her on your island. Even so, she’s one of the most desirable Villagers in the game, probably because she’s so well known by fans.

Who is Marina?

Marina’s name originates from Latin, meaning “from the sea”. Given that she’s an octopus, that seems pretty appropriate. Some believe that it also just comes from the word marine, but everyone agrees that it’s generally very ocean themed.

She has the music hobby, which is quite key really considering that she appears on the cover of K.K. Rally. What you may not notice is the small pink bow on the back of her head. It’s really hard to see, because she’s pink too, but it’s definitely there. It was a different colour in previous games, making it much easier to see.

Birthday

Marina’s birthday is on June 26. Make sure you drop by her house and say “Happy Birthday” to her. She’ll hang out there all day and wait for presents form the other Villagers. Giving her a present may well pay off for you in the future, so go with something nice for her.

Marina’s Personality

When it comes to her personality, Marina has the normal type. This means that she’s frequently quite kind to the player, and so you should develop a nice strong bond with her. She’ll get along well with most lazy, smug, peppy, and snooty Villagers, as well as other Villagers with a normal personality.

Marina is an early riser, she’s up at 6am. You’ll find her much easier to get on with, and you should develop a strong relationship pretty early on. Both normal and peppy Villagers like to reference an unseen friend that they have called Moppina. This is widely believed to be some sort of mop that acts as an imaginary friend, and it’s a bit creepy and crazy.

Marina’s House

The house that Marina lives in looks very normal from the outside. Inside though, it’s a rush of pink everywhere. She has the Pink Tankless Toilet, and Claw-foot Tub. She also has a number of items from the Cute series, which are white and pink, and Strawberry-Chocolate Wallpaper and Berry-Chocolates Flooring.

There are no real facts to know about Marina. However, she does seem to be extremely rare, and lots of players pass up other Villagers in favour of finding her. If you happen to see her, or just have her on your island, count yourself lucky.

That’s all there is to know about Marina in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. If there’s something that you think is worth including that we missed, let us know what it is in the comments.

How do you Know Who Your Obsession is In Dead by Daylight?

How do you Know Who Your Obsession is In Dead by Daylight

The question, “how do you know who your obsession is in Dead by Daylight?” is one of the most prominent in the wake of the mechanic’s addition to the game.

In this guide we’ll cover everything you need to know about it, and hopefully provide a few tips and tricks at the same time.

How do you Know Who Your Obsession is In Dead by Daylight?

The Obsession mechanic will only be in play in a match if a perk or add-on are in use that have the mechanic attached to them.

You’ll be able to tell that the mechanic is in play because one character will have the Entity’s presence around their portrait.

You can see this in what most players call the spider legs, pictured below.

How do you Know Who Your Obsession is In Dead by Daylight

When you chase your obsession as the killer, the spider legs will wiggle around.

This will give you a clue as to whom your obsession is, so that you can focus on chasing and capturing them over the other survivors in the match.

What is the Obsession Mechanic?

How do you Know Who Your Obsession is In Dead by Daylight

The Obsession mechanic was added to Dead by Daylight in the Chapter II: Halloween update. Every time the Obsession mechanic is in play, every survivor has an equal chance of becoming the killer’s obsession.

It’s possible for survivors to quip perks that will decrease or increase their chances of becoming the obsession, usually alongside other more beneficial perks too.

Survivors can have multiple affects applied to them when they’re the obsession.. All of which link back to the perks they, other survivors, and even the killer have equipped. We’ll cover all of those perks here.

Killer Perks

Dark Devotion – Hitting your obsession with a basic attack causes them to emit a Terror Radius for a number of seconds, which will have detrimental effects on other survivors.

You will become undetectable, whilst the survivor will hear the Terror Radius for the entire period of time.

Dead Man’s Switch – This activates once you’ve hooked your obsession. When activated, generators will be blocked by The entity if a survivor stops working on them before they’re fully repaired.

The Entity will continue to block it until the perk deactivates. A white aura indicates an affected generator.

Dying Light – Your obsession has a 33 percent increase to unhooking and healing other survivors. Whilst your obsession is alive though, all other survivors receive a stackable penalty to sabotage, healing, and repair for each token.

Furtive Chase – This perk receives a token for each time you hook your obsession.

The survivor who rescues your current obsession from the hook will become your new obsession, allowing you to stack this perk by hooking them in turn. All tokens are lost if the obsession is killed or sacrificed.

Nemesis – Any survivor who stuns you with a flashlight, pallet, or locker will become your obsession. All new obsessions will be affected by the Oblivious status, and have their aura revealed to you for 4 seconds.

Play With Your Food – You get a token every time you chase you obsession and allow them to escape, up to three.

Every token you gain will increase your movement speed, but every basic or special attack removes a token. This perk has a cooldown of 10 seconds between uses.

Rancor – Your obsession can see your aura for a few seconds every time a generator is repaired. However, every survivor’s location is revealed for a few seconds upon generator repair as well.

Once all generators are repaired, the obsession will receive the Exposed status effect, revealing them to you so that you can kill them.

Remember Me – Every time you hit your obsession you increase the Exit Gate opening time by 4 seconds, up to 12 in total with certain add-ons. Your obsession will not activate this perk though.

Save the Best for Last – Every hit not dealt to your obsession awards a token, up to 8. These tokens grant a 5 percent reduction in cooldown for attacks. Any attacks on your obsession will cost you tokens.

Killer Add-Ons

Black Box – Your obsession starts the match in the Dream World, and can’t wake up.

Judith’s Journal – This considerably increases the amount of Evil you gain from stalking your obsession.

Survivor Perks

Blood Pact – You and the obsession can see each other’s auras when one of you is injured. Healing each other will increase your movement speed. This is thanks to the Haste status.

While this reduces the chances of you becoming the obsession, if you do, the perk deactivates.

Decisive Strike – Unhooking activates this perk. Either by themselves or another survivor.

It allows you to try and pass a skill check when grabbed by the killer, which will see you escape them if you pass it. If you succeed or fail that skill check, the perk deactivates.

You will also become the obsession if you stun the killer. This perk increases your chances of being the obsession.

For the People – This is only active when at full health. You can press the active ability button whilst healing a survivor without a Med Kit to instantly heal them from Dying to Injured, or Injured to Healthy.

If successful, you will become Injured and have the Broken status applied, as well as becoming the obsession. This perk reduces your odds of being the obsession.

Mettle of Man – This perk activates after winning three Protection Hit score events. This prevents you from entering the Dying or Injured state for the next instance that would put you in them only.

When you heal back to full health afterwards, the killer will see your aura for a short time. This increases your chances of being the obsession.

Object of Obsession – If you look in the killer’s direction, your aura’s will link and become visible.

This only applies outside fo the killer’s Terror Radius. Add-ons can change the maximum and minimum range of Object of Obsession. This perk will increase your chances of being the obsession.

Sole Survivor – With ever survivor that dies, the range at which the killer can see your aura reduces. This will increase your chances of being the obsession.

Survivor Add-Ons

Unique Wedding Ring – This reveals the obsession’s aura to you, and reduces your chances of becoming the obsession.

We hope that this has answered your question of “how do you know who your obsession is in Dead by Daylight?” There really isn’t anything more to the mechanic than this.

Final Note

What most players try to do is make builds for killers and survivors around the obsession perks.

These are interesting, but when it comes to moment to moment gameplay they’re far more gimmicky than they are useful. However, having a few good Obsession perks unlocked is never a bad thing.

You might just need them for a loadout when you’re on a losing streak.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Judy Villager Guide

0

Judy is one of the most popular Villagers in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. In this Animal Crossing: New Horizons Judy Villager Guide we’re going to cover everything there is to know about one of the game’s most unique Villagers. Hopefully this will give you an idea of why she is so popular.

Since the game launched, Judy has been in the top ten most popular Villagers in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. This means that her value has never dropped below 15-20 million Bells, or a few thousand Nook Miles Tickets, on the Animal Crossing black market.

Who is Judy?

Judy was first introduced in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. This is one of the reasons that she’s so popular, because you can’t just add her to your game with an Amiibo card. Her hobby is music, which can be both a blessing and a curse.

Judy might be a cub, but she’s one of the most unique looking Villagers in Animal Crossing history. Whilst her fur is pastel coloured, and very pleasing to look at, it’s her eyes that most players fall in love with. As you should have noticed just from looking at a picture of her, those eyes are literally stars that shine out of her head.

When she’s shocked, her eyes turn white with small dark blue irises, which are also unique to her. It’s these eyes alone that make her stand out. While she might have her own separate personality that is also fun to get to know, it’s definitely the eyes that you’ll be obsessing over.

Birthday

Judy’s birthday is March 10. Make sure you pop by her house on this day, which is where she’ll be hanging out all day with other Villagers. She’ll probably give you some cake, and if you give her a present it’ll pay off in your relationship with her later down the line.

Judy’s Personality

Judy has a snooty personality type. This means that she’s pretty obsessed with her makeup, and loves a good gossip. If you don’t like talking about your Villagers behind their backs, then maybe avoid having her on your island.

When you first meet her, and have her staying with you, Judy will actually be quite rude and arrogant towards you. Most of the time she’ll turn the conversation towards her, and her experiences in life. She’s also very much into talking about how the other Villagers look, and what they’re wearing. For the most part, she’ll just talk about the female Villagers though. Mostly these will be peppery, normal, or other snooty personality types.

After she’s been with you for a few days, and you’ve chatted to her a few times. Judy will warm up to you. Soon she’ll even start confiding in you. Don’t expect her to be polite though, that’s quite out of her capacity.

Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on the Villagers you have with you, Judy is never going to get on with lazy personality types. This is because they love to eat and don’t care about how they look. Judy is the total opposite, and it goes against every fibre of her being to like them.

Judy also won’t get along with any jock Villagers you have. They might take care of the way they look, but they’ll question Judy about her appearance, and she just hates that.

Cranky and normal personality types will get on well with Judy. This is because of who she is and how her personality makes her, so she will have at least one or two friends.

Judy’s House

You won’t find anything scary or odd about Judy’s house. What you will find is that it’s about as bland and boring as she is deep down though (sorry if you like her, but I really don’t).

The interior is filled with pastel coloured items such as the Wooden-Block series, and even the Old Fashioned Alarm Clock. She has a starry garland for wallpaper, which makes sense given her eyes, and a Dot Flooring. If nothing else, it looks like you could play an epic game of Twister in there.

Facts About Judy

Other that what I’ve covered above, there’s very little to Judy. I don’t personally understand why so many people want her, unless they’re die hard Animal Crossing fans. However, she does seem to be at the heart of most livestream or YouTube challenges. Check out just two that I found below.

That’s all there is to know from this Animal Crossing: New Horizons Judy Villager Guide. If there’s anything about Judy that you think we missed, then please do let us know in the comments.

NEW BUGS AND FISH FOR August 2020 IN ANIMAL CROSSING: NEW HORIZONS

0

As with every month in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, there are new bugs and fish for August 2020. This month doesn’t bring quite as many new bugs and fish as July 2020 did, but there’s still a good amount of change.

Before you head out in a panic, please don’t worry too much about catching all of these new bugs and fish for August soon. You have an entire month to catch all of them.

This month we actually see a change for both the northern and southern hemispheres. Let’s have a look at what’s arrived on your island this month.

New Bugs and Fish for August 2020 Northern Hemisphere

Fish: Soft-shelled Turtle – You can find these guys between 4pm and 9am in any river on your island.

Fish: Moray Eel – These guys are super common, and can be found in the sea at any time of day.

Fish: Ray – Between the hours of 4am and 9pm you’ll be able to find Rays, not fish called Ray, in the sea.

Bug: Migratory Locust – These guys might be responsible for a bunch of plagues, but you need them. They’ll appear on the ground between 8am and 7pm.

Bug: Rice Grasshopper – Slightly less annoying, these lively bugs will be on the ground, also between 8am and 7pm.

Bug: Walker Cicada – Between 8am and 5pm you’ll be able to pick these Cicadas up on any trees on your island.

Sea Creature: Flatworm – You’ll need to scour the bottom of the ocean for Flatworms between 4pm and 9am if you want to catch one.

New Bugs and Fish for August 2020 Southern Hemisphere

Bug: Tiger Beetle – You’ll find Tiger Beetles on the ground all day every day. Honestly you’ll be sick of them by the end of the season.

Those are all of the new bugs and fish coming to your island in August 2020. These should all be live right now, so you’ll have a fantastic chance of getting all of them if you go out and look for them immediately.

As I said before, don’t worry too much about picking them all up right away, these bugs and fish will be around for the whole month. However, if you’re someone that can only play the game at weekends, I suggest you put as much time into getting themas you possibly can.

For those in the southern hemisphere, don’t panic. The reason that you’re not getting many new bugs and fish is that it’s currently winter. You’ll be given more variety when you hit summer in a few months.

I think that this might be the best month for anyone who struggles to collect all the bugs and fish.

Usually it’s quite hard to work out how to get them all. Right now though, it’s really easy to work out when to grab them, and where.

This is probably the start of a decline in new creatures for the northern hemisphere. It’s also probably the beginning of a rise in variety for the southern hemisphere. I can’t wait to see what we get next month already.

Let us know if you’ve already caught everything in the comments.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Summer Update Wave 2 – Everything you Need to Know

0

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Summer Update Wave 2 is finally here, and it adds a plethora of new features to the game.

Unfortunately it doesn’t add nearly as many new features as the first wave update did, but it’s still a pretty meaty one. Here we’ll be going through everything that’s new for you to do.

Hopefully this will mean that you don’t miss a thing in the new update.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Summer Update Wave 2 New Features

Fireworks

The first big new feature of note is fireworks displays. These are happening on every Sunday throughout August.

Once you gain access to them, you’ll even be able to produce your own designs. Just make sure that you have a nice spot to sit and watch all of them go off every Sunday.

You won’t want to miss these if they’re limited to Sundays, though we don’t know that they are just yet.

Dream Islands

This is a feature that has taken pretty much everyone by surprise. It’s a mechanic that allows you to upload a version of your island to the cloud, and create a dream version of it.

You can do this by heading to your bed and sleeping, at which point you’ll enter a dream, and Luna, a new Villager, will appear and talk to you.

Through this feature you can also visit other dream islands. Whilst you won’t meet other live players there, you can meet the dream versions of them, which is quite a nice way to get that multiplayer experience without necessarily linking up with someone.

Backup Islands

This isn’t a feature that supplies you with a new island if you lose yours. It’s actually a way to back up your island on Nintendo’s cloud server so that you can retrieve it if you need to.

This has been put in place for players who may lose or have their Switch broken between play sessions, losing progress as a result.

I think that this is a feature that the community has been screaming out for since the game launched. It means that all of your progress is safe, regardless of what happens to your Switch.

You do need to have a Nintendo Online account in order for this to work, but that’s something you should already have if you’re using the game online anyway.

Other than some time-limited seasonal items, that’s all there is to this update. Unfortunately we didn’t get any new Villagers or abilities, but we did get confirmation that another event is coming this Fall.

That event is going to be focused around Halloween from the looks of things, so keep an eye out for it around October time.

If there’s anything that you think we missed about this update, then please do let us know in the comments.

Please also comment with your favourite fireworks pictures, because they won’t be around for long and it would be good to document as many of them as possible. Just try not to create too many rude looking ones.

Dead by Daylight How to Find the Hatch|Escape Every Time

0
Dead by Daylight How to Find Hatch

This Dead by Daylight how to find hatch guide will help you advance in the game and walk you through it step by step.

There are two ways to escape as a survivor in every Dead by Daylight match. The first is to activate all the generators, open the gate, and run away from the killer.

The second is to find and use the hatch. In this guide we’re going to cover how to find the hatch in Dead by Daylight, allowing you to escape much quicker the next time you’re stuck in a jam.

Dead by Daylight – How to Find the Hatch

Dead by Daylight How to Find Hatch

The easiest way the hatch in a Dead by Daylight is to make your way to the furthest edge of the map, regardless of which map, and circle around.

Once you’ve done one full rotation of the map, you’ll need to start working your way in. As you do this you should come across the hatch at some stage.

It’s important to note that the number of hatches that spawn increases with the number of survivors. for example, one survivor will get two hatches, whilst four survivors will get five.

This is to even the odds against the killer when the going gets tough.

This video explains the noise that you’re trying to hear very well.

How to Hatches Work?

You’ll be able to hear a hatch spawning before you can see it. Keep your sound up, and barely breath. Just keep circling the map and listen out for the hatch.

If you’re keeping an ear out then you should easily find it, but if you’re too busy running or looking for the killer, there’s every chance that you’ll miss it.

However, the way that hatches most commonly work is that they open when there is one survivor left in the match.

Regardless of whether every other survivor has escaped, or been killed, when there is one left, the hatches will open.

Survivors will see the hatches opening, and need to run to them as quickly as possible, because the killer will also be able to see them whilst they’re open.

Cunning survivors might wait to watch the killer run off to a hatch, and use that as an opportunity to run out of the gate. This is probably your best bet if you’ve been trying to get around the killer for a while.

Can you Unlock Hatches Early?

How to Find the Hatch

It is totally possible to unlock hatches early, but you’ll need a specific item. You can open up a hatch early if you find a Full Skeleton Key, but that’s the only way to get it to open early.

This isn’t a tactic that many players rely on because it’s based on them finding a key item.

Why Should I use a Hatch?

As I mentioned before, the hatches are the easier way to escape if a killer is guarding an open gate.

Killers can easily attack any survivor who isn’t quick or alert enough when heading for the exit, so a hatch provides them with a sneaky exit.

However, if you can’t unlock a hatch early, you’re at the mercy of the killer. Waiting to be the final survivor means that you’ll also be the only one being hunted, making things quite stressful for you.

If you and the killer converge on the same hatch at the same time, the chances are that you’ll die before you can exit.

Due to this, it’s way more effective to head for the exit once the hatches open. Killers will need to make a decision at this point, and they usually choose hunting for survivors around hatches.

That is everything you need to know about how to find a hatch in Dead by Daylight. If there’s anything that you think is missing from our guide, please do let us know in the comments.

How to Hold Your Breath in Ghost Recon: Breakpoint

0

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint is part of the new wave of Ghost Recon games that introduces RPG mechanics.

Using skill points that you unlock as you earn experience in the game, players can purchase skills to equip their Ghost with, and these help make them a more efficient and lethal soldier.

However, they’re not all totally obvious as soon as you get them. In this guide we’re going to cover how to hold your breath in Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, and help you master it as a skill.

Not a Skill

The first thing that you need to know about holding your breath, is that you can do it as soon as you start Ghost Recon: Breakpoint.

It’s not a skill that needs unlocking, like the ones I alluded to above. Instead, it’s an intrinsic skill that the game does a really terrible job of introducing you to.

So even if you’ve just started the game, you can use this skill to your advantage, simply by following these instructions.

First, you need to learn how to hold your aiming trigger. This should be the trigger on the left hand side of your controller, regardless of platform.

Of course on PC this is going to be different, so it’s just the aim button there. If you hold this button all the way down, it will zoom in with whatever sights or scope you have equipped on your current weapon.

Instead of holding the button down all the way, you need to hold it halfway down. This will take you into your scope in a slightly different way, without the aiming reticule displaying at first. This indicates that you’re holding your breath.

As long as you do this every time you want to hold your breath, your Ghost should do just that. As to why you’d want to do this, there are several advantages. We’ve actually found a great video that shows the breath holding in action.

Why Should I Hold my Breath in Ghost Recon: Breakpoint?

Whilst your Ghost is holding their breath while aiming, you’ll benefit from a few advantages over standard aiming.

The first thing to note is that you’ll scope in a little close to the enemies. That’s how it looks at least, and this is because your Ghost is far more concentrated on the targets within the scope.

Since you can only hold your breath for a certain amount of time, it’s a fair advantage that’s balanced out by you needing to move off and breathe after a short while.

When holding your breath you will gain better stability and handling over a weapon. This will make you a little more accurate, and allow you to hit targets that might otherwise have been too far away.

That extra stability will allow you to work out bullet drop distances and wind direction a lot faster, and you’ll just generally be able to line your shot up so that it’s perfect.

The best reason to hold your breath though, is to stay hidden. If a base of enemies suddenly realises that there’s a Ghost out there trying to hunt them all down and kill them, they’ll immediately go on the alert.

This makes infiltrating the base so much harder, and also makes everything descend into chaos, which isn’t what anyone wants.

By holding your breath, you can sit comfortably on a rock that’s ages away from a base, and slowly yet methodically pick off every single enemy you can see.

It’s worth noting that holding your breath is also extremely useful against drone enemies. Each drone has specific weak points, and if you can’t hit them, then you’re gong to take a few bullets.

By aiming carefully, you can hit the weak points. This will deal some serious damage before you ever get close to the drone.

Sharpshooter

One final note about how to hold your breath in Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. It blends well with the Sharpshooter class.

This is the class that you’d go for if you want to stay hidden and shoot enemies from a distance, it’s also good for getting into meaty firefights though.

This is the class that I personally prefer to run with, and using it whilst also holding your breath provides the most accurate aiming that I think is possible in the game.

That’s everything there is to know about holding your breath in Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. If there’s something important that you think we missed, please do let us know in the comments.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Zucker Villager Guide

0

Zucker is a popular Villager in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, though not for the reason that you might think. In this Animal Crossing: New Horizons Zucker Villager Guide we’re going to cover everything there is to know about this character, and maybe even uncover why they’re so popular.

First things first, Zucker is part of the top tier list of Animal Crossing: New Horizons Villagers.

This means that he’s worth around 15-20 million Bells, or a couple of thousand Nook Miles Tickets, if you want to get him on the Animal Crossing black market that is.

The reason that he’s so popular is almost certainly because of the way he looks, as well as the fact that he’s an Octopus Villager.

Who is Zucker?

Zucker is an octopus Villager with the lazy personality. His first appearance came in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, meaning that it is actually possible to get him via an Amiibo Card.

This just means that you can buy a card to insert him into your island, rather than having to go out and find him on a mystery island.

The thing that seems to make Zucker most attractive is the fact that he resembles a Japanese snack called ‘takoyaki’. His Japanese name is ‘Takoya’, which, when combined with his appearance, makes it extremely hard to believe that he wasn’t totally inspired by the snack.

Takoyaki is a fried dough ball, most commonly filled with octopus. The snack is also usually decorated with green onion, which is why Zucker’s freckles are green, and topped with a brown sauce, which is why his hair is brown and looks like liquid.

You’d also eat Takoyaki with a toothpick, which is probably where the sticks in his hair come from. He’s one of the few Villagers to represent food, and definitely one of the most obvious.

Birthday

Zucker’s birthday is March 8. Make sure you stop by his house if he’s on your island on that day.

He’ll be haging out waiting for other Villagers to drop by. If you give him a present, it might pay off for you in the long run. At the very least you’ll take part in a celebration, and even get some cake.

Zucker’s Personality

Zucker is a Lazy Villager, much like Sherb. This makes him easy going. He also gets on with pretty much everyone on your island because of his laid back attitude.

Most of the time he’ll be relaxing, talking about sleeping, or fishing so that he can eat later. The only Villagers he won’t get on with are jocks, because he’ll offend or confuse them.

Zucker’s House

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Zucker’s house is really interesting. It resembles and outdoor market, with a stall for buying food.

This is almost certainly a reference to the snack that inspired his entire character. He has a few items that are related to food, such as a candy machine, a mixer, and an orange and pear box.

This is designed to make him look like he’s selling food. There’s even a log bench, as if you were going to sit down after buying some food from him. The walls and floors are designed to make it look like the interior is outside, finishing off the street vendor look.

Facts About Zucker

  • Zucker is actually the third octopus in the Animal Crossing series, behind Marina and Octavian.
  • The only other Villager to share his catchphrase is Bertha.
  • His English name, Zucker, means Sugar in German, which lines up with his appearance. However, it also sounds like sucker, which makes sense since he’s an octopus with suckers.
  • When ill or sad, Zucker’s eyes turn into blotchy paint-splatters with three white dots. It’s terrifying.

The only way we could finish off this guide was to show you just how creepy Zucker is when he’s singing with Marina and Octavian.

If you think that there’s something important about Zucker that we missed, please let us know in the comments.

Dead by Daylight – How to 360 Guide For Gamers

0
Dead by Daylight - How to 360

In this Dead by Daylight how to 360 you will learn what you need to pull off this great tactic or method. We will cover anything any avid gamer who loves playing this game will find useful.

If you’ve been playing Dead by Daylight for a little while now, you’ve no doubt heard of 360ing a killer.

But what is this tactic, and how do you 360 in Dead by Daylight? This guide will answer these questions and more, so strap in and learn the best way to escape killers quickly when you’re in a tight spot.

Dead by Daylight How to 360

Dead by Daylight - How to 360

Pulling off a 360 looks super easy in Dead by Daylight, but it’s not. We’ve got notes on how to practise further down in this guide, but here’s how you actually pull off the move.

When a killer is close, run in a circle, pressing W,A,S,D on the PC, or using your joystick or touchscreen on consoles or mobile. At the same time, rotate your camera in the opposite direction to the way you’re moving.

This will result in you performing a quick 180 turn, but because you keep moving, you’ll do it twice. This turns that 180 turn into a 360. Remember that the killer needs to be in the middle of the circle, otherwise the 360 won’t work.

At this point, a killer who is going to be fooled by the move will be running around in circles themselves. Run off as fast as you can, and you should now have some distance between you and them.

If a Killer is Good, Fake it

Dead by Daylight - How to 360

If a killer isn’t being fooled by your 360, then you need to work it a bit more. Try almost pulling the move off by running erratically in one direction.

This will make it look like you’re about to pull a 360, but if you don’t finish the move then the killer may well stop in their tracks. It’s a tough fake to do, but will help against middling killers.

Mix Things up

Dead by Daylight - How to 360

If you’re spending a lot of time pulling 360s on a killer, they’re going to get wise to your tricks.

Mix things up with some other Dead by Daylight jukes. By keeping your tactics fresh, the killer won’t know exactly what you’ll do next. This will make your next 460 all the more effective, right when you need it to be.

Practice Running in Circles

Dead by Daylight - How to 360

This might sound like utter madness, but you need to practice running around in circles as a survivor if you want to be good at performing a 360.

It’ll give you a good foundation, and hopefully some muscle memory, for pulling the movement off when you need it in a clutch situation.

For consoles and mobile it should be obvious what to do, just move around in a circle using the joystick or touchscreen.

For PC, you’ll want to practice by pressing W,A,S,D, or W,D,S,A. These are your movement keys, and this is the movement you’ll need to perform a 360.

Once you’ve got the movement down while walking, push yourself and practice while running. You’ll be doing this by holding the run button, but otherwise it’s exactly the same.

This is a Last Resort

360ing a killer should really be used as a last resort. If a killer is chasing you hard, and you just can’t get away from them, then this tactic may be just what you need to get some distance.

However, you need to bear in mind that only about 20 percent of killers in Dead by Daylight, the players I mean, will be fooled by this tactic.

Most players are proficient enough that they’ll be able to recover quickly and continue chasing. Some might even be aware of what you’re about to do, and have a counter strategy that they do in order to ensure they catch you anyway.

If you need things going over in a video form, there’s a very helpful guide that we came across below.

That’s everything there is to know about 360ing in Dead by Daylight. If there’s something that we missed which you think should be included in the guide, please let us know in the comments. If not, then we hope this helps you live for a few more moments in your next match.

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint Resistance Event Guide|Rebel for Rewards

0

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint Resistance is the second live event the game has ever seen. In it, players will team up with the Rebel faction across the island of Auroa to fight back against their enemies and gain more ground in their battle for freedom.

Here we’re going to cover everything that you need to know about the event, including some of the rewards on offer.

Time-limited

First things first. Ghost Recon: Breakpoint Resistance will only be around until August 7 2020. That means you have about one week left to make the most of this incredible live event.

To start it, all you need to do is ensure that the latest update for the game is installed on your chosen system. As soon as you load up the game, you’ll be able to participate in the event.

Outlaws

Resistance completely changes Auroa for the better. It makes the Outlaws a much more present faction. You’ll be able to come across Outlaws pretty much anywhere you go, regardless of how far through the game’s story you are.

Outlaws will show up in their own unique vehicles, from cars to helicopters, and you’re able to take them for a spin if you feel like it.

It’s important to help the Outlaws wherever you come across them on Auroa. Sometimes this will be on a random corner of a road, where enemies are pinning the Outlaws down, but most of the time it will be in missions.

Resistance Missions

The new live event adds an entirely new segment of missions to your mission board. If you navigate there in the menu, then you’ll be able to pick and choose from the Resistance missions available to you.

These missions don’t vary a lot, but they’re extremely interesting nonetheless.

The core mission types will see you clearing a convoy, capturing a key point on the map, or invading a base to rescue some Outlaws.

Convoy Missions

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint Resistance Event

My favourite missions from this event are Convoy Missions. These task you with taking out a convoy as it speeds towards your location.

Once you’ve started the mission, you’ll only have a minute or so before the convoy arrives.

The best tactic for completing the missions fast is to lay mines on the road. The vehicles will blow up, blocking any that manage to avoid the explosions.

This will force your enemies out of their vehicles, where you and the Outlaws can finish them off. It also helps to throw a few grenades into the path of the convoy as they approach.

Don’t get too comfortable though. If the convoy manages to evade your efforts, you’ll need to pile into a vehicle quickly and chase them.

If the convoy gets away, it’s mission failed. I play with AI teammates on, which allowed me to take the convoy down whilst chasing them in an armoured car.

Don’t worry if you do fail the mission, you can retry any Resistance Missions from the menu.

Capture Missions

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint Resistance Event

These missions are pretty straightforward, and they resemble what you’d be doing in the game anyway.

The Outlaws will be positioned just outside of a key location on the map. There might be ammunition there, or something else they’re interested in, like intelligence.

Regardless, they’re waiting for you to go in and clear that location out.

Clearing the location is as easy as it is in the game normally. You just choose your targets, take them down one by one, and run in to accomplish the first part.

Once this is done though, the enemy is going to send reinforcements to try to take the location back.

This is where waves of enemies start to show up, and it’s down to you and the Outlaws to hold your ground. Kill all of the enemies, and watch out for vehicles.

I had some trouble with helicopters, but a few well placed shots will bring them right down.

Once that’s all done, you’ll be told you’ve done a great job, and can move on.

Rescue Missions

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint Resistance Event

These are by far the most involved missions. You’ll start outside of a large base, and be told that there are some Outlaws inside the base that need to be rescued.

From here, you’ll need to work your way into the base, rescue those Outlaws, and get them to safety. I definitely enjoyed these missions, but they didn’t feel much different to the game’s core missions.

Outlaw Presence

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint Resistance Event

As you complete more missions, you’ll increase the strength of the Outlaws. This will result in more of them appearing across Auroa. You may not notice this, but I certainly did.

The Outlaws come in handy when you encounter a small group of enemies, because they’ll usually appear just in time to distract and kill them.

Of course, completing missions also increases your reputation with the Outlaws, which has its own rewards.

Rewards

The Resistance live event has its own battle pass of rewards to earn. This is usual in Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, and it’s actually a great way to earn some really nice gear to take into the main game.

While the battle pass is great, because it presents you with a whole new range of cosmetics, it’s the Strike Designator that you want to earn.

This is the weapon that you’ll get for maxing out your reputation with the Outlaws, and therefore their strength.

The Strike Designator allows you to pick a target for the Outcasts, who are the Outlaws, to send a strike missile to.

This is an incredibly powerful tool, and would let you complete some daily or weekly missions without moving a muscle.

This is the item that most players are working towards for this event, and it’s definitely worth your time.

That’s all there is to know about Ghost Recon: Breakpoint Resistance. If there’s something important that you think we missed, please do let us know in the comments.

Otherwise, enjoy your time on Auroa while the Outlaws fill the island.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Sherb Villager Guide

0

Sherb is a rising star when it comes to Villagers. In this Animal Crossing: New Horizons Sherb Villager Guide we’re going to cover everything there is to know about him, from his favourite colours, to his birthday, and even what items he’ll use to decorate the interior of his house with.

Sherb isn’t like Marshal or Raymond. He’s not been a consistent member of the most desirable Villagers in Animal Crossing: New Horizons since the game launched. In fact, it has taken him two months or so to rise up the ranks. At the time of writing he is placed third in the Villager Popularity Chart on Animal Crossing Portal. This means that he’s still worth somewhere between 15 and 20 million Bells, or a few thousand Nook Miles Tickets, but he’s not quite the best Villager on the list. He’s almost a prize just for taking part in an event. He’s something you’ll take if given, but you probably wouldn’t go looking for him. At least, I wouldn’t.

Who is Sherb?

Sherb is a lazy goat Villager who was introduced with Animal Crossing: New Horizons. His name is said to be inspired by sherbet, the sweet sugar that sort of burns your tongue, but also a lovely flavour of ice cream. In Japanese his name is ‘Rem’, which it’s thought could be a reference to REM sleep. This is backed up further by Sherb’s preferred K.K. Slider song, Hypno K.K.

While Sherb is a goat, he’s blue, which is pretty strange in my books. His horns are both striped white and grey, and he’s got pink cheeks, as if he’s been hanging out on a hill on a windy day. His eyes are nice and friendly though, so he’ll never make you feel unnerved or out of place on your own island.

Part of what makes Sherb so desirable is the fact that he’s another Villager that you can’t pick up with an Amiibo card. This is generally what makes most Villagers in the top tier lists popular, though there are some exceptions. I think that if Sherb was available on an Amiibo card, he’d definitely be further down in the Villager Popularity lists.

Birthday

Sherb’s birthday is January 18. Make sure you visit him on the day, though he’ll probably be spending most of the dar indoors. He’ll give you cake, and you can even catch up with him about what he’s planning to do to celebrate.

Sherb’s Personality

Sherb is a lazy Villager, and has the Hobby nature. Generally he’ll get on with most Villagers, but he’s going to confuse, and even offend, the jock Villagers on your island. He gets on really well with the smug, peppy, normal, and sisterly personality types, and will occasionally even get on with some cranky Villagers. His relaxing tends to get on the nerves of any Villagers with the snooty personality type though.

Sherb is one of the cutest Villagers you could hope to have on your island. He’s an absolute joy to be around, but that’s mostly because of the things he says. His personality makes him sound like that friend who is always too dozy to say anything that makes sense, but you still love them for it.

Sherb’s House

Sherb outfits his home with a number of items from the Cute Set. These items are in the Blue Sky variant, making them match his fur pretty well. He has the Cute Bed, Cute Floor Lamp, Cute Sofa, Cute Wardrobe, Cute DIY Table, and Cute Tea Table. Sherb also adds in the Old-Fashioned Alarm Clock. Finally, Sherb has a music player that is constantly playing his favourite track, Hypno K.K. and the Purple Desert Tile for wallpaper, and Simple Purple Flooring.

That’s really all there is to know about Sherb. The community has picked up on one thing that he does in particular that’s a bit weird though. He likes to smell other Villagers. If they smell him back, he just comments, “I just wanted to be smelled”, which is extremely unnerving.

Let us know what you think of Sherb in the comments. Please also let us know about any facts that you think we’ve missed, and need to be added.

Dead by Daylight: How to Play With Friends Online Guide

Dead by Daylight is a game that you need to play with others, that’s just how it has been designed. However, that doesn’t mean that you have to spend all of your time playing with random strangers.

In fact, we’re going to tell you exactly how to play with friends in Dead by Daylight. This should make it easy for you to set up a party and enjoy every minute you spend in the game just a little bit more.

Dead by Daylight: How to play with friends

Local Co-op

Unfortunately there is no local or couch co-op in Dead by Daylight. The developers may eventually implement this in the game, but for now it simply isn’t something that’s there. It would also defeat the point of the game in some cases.

For example, if you had a killer and survivor playing on the same screen, they could see each other very easily. Unless you go back to the old-fashioned ways of separating the screen, sitting close to it and sellotaping cardboard in the middle, you’re not going to have a fair game.

Online Multiplayer

Dead by Daylight: How to Play With Friends Online Guide

The true answer to ‘how to play with friends in Dead by Daylight’ is actually quite simple. There’s even an in-game prompt for it.

If you want to play with friends and have everyone playing as a survivor, then simply select the ‘Survive With Friends’ option when looking for a game.

Once you’ve selected this option, you’ll be able to open up a lobby. You can invite your friends to this lobby, as long as they’re in your friends list on Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, or whatever platform you’re currently playing on.

Once you’ve invited all of your friends, and everyone has selected the ‘Ready’ prompt, then the game will match you with as many other players as are required for a full match, including a killer.

Consistency

If you and your friends want to play more than one game together, then you’ll need to put some work in.

Once a match has been completed, with the killer getting everyone, all the survivors escaping, or a mixture of both, then everyone will be kicked out to the main menu.

At this point you’ll need to set up another game and invite all of your friends to it once more. Right now there is no way to keep a group of friends together through multiple matches.

This is most likely because the game wants to split everyone up, ensuring that you’re not paired with the same people too often.

This helps to avoid you being punished by extremely skilled players too often as well.

Kill Your Friends

Dead by Daylight: How to Play With Friends Online Guide

If you thought that it would be just as easy to hook up with friends as a killer in Dead by Daylight, then you’re completely right.

When looking for a game, you can select the ‘Kill Your Friends’ option, and then invite as many friends as will fit into the lobby for you to hunt and kill.

Bear in mind that in this feature of the game, you can’t fill empty spaces with matchmaking.

You need to fill all the spots for survivors, or just be happy with those you have in the lobby.

This mechanic is in place because generally this form of playing the game is best with those who know each other, and wouldn’t be much fun with random players.

What is quite fun about the Kill Your Friends games is that you can define the specific settings for each match.

This enables you to completely customise loadouts for both survivors and killers, making for some extremely interesting scenarios.

Dead by Daylight Mobile

Dead by Daylight How to Play With Friends Online

Dead by Daylight Mobile is a very different version of the game. It’s also quite new, and is lacking a lot of features.

Right now, there’s just one way to meet up with friends in the game. You can add your friends based on their username, but it’s an incredibly finicky system that doesn’t work that well.

This may never be a full feature in the game, because it would require each mobile device to have a built-in friends list.

Maybe this will come with time, as Android and iOS updates are released, but for now it’s just not possible to play with friends in Dead by Daylight Mobile.

The Best Place to Play

The best platform to play Dead by Daylight with friends on is PC. Both the Steam and Windows versions of the game are compatible, and the game runs best on PC as well.

It’s much easier to set up custom games on this version of Dead by Daylight, and providing everyone has decent internet speeds, you should see a vast improvement over every other platform when playing together.

That’s everything you need to know about how to play with friends in Dead by Daylight. If we’ve missed anything that you think is vitally important, please do let us know in the comments.

Can You Get Married in Animal Crossing New Leaf?

0
married-in-animal-crossing-new-leaf
It’s also the only game on the Nintendo 3DS that any self-respecting fan of the series will be playing. But there’s one question that seems to bug almost all players, “can you get married in Animal Crossing New Leaf?”.Here we’re going to answer this question, and outline all possible scenarios that it might lead you to.

Can you get Married in Animal Crossing New Leaf?

Can You Get Married in Animal Crossing New Leaf

Let’s get the big question out of the way first. No, you can’t really get married in Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

It’s not a feature that the developers have put into the game, so you can’t set up a complex series of events that will eventually see you wed the Villager you love most.

However, there are a couple of scenarios that will allow you to live out your dream of either getting married in the game, or marrying one of the Villagers that you clearly adore so much.

Arrange a Wedding With Another Player

Can You Get Married in Animal Crossing New Leaf

This scenario could work with another random player in the game, or with that special someone who you genuinely want to marry.

There are items in the game that you can craft and set up in order to create whatever kind of wedding you want.

If you then invite that special someone over to your island, then you can go ahead with a wedding ceremony.

The best place to get wedding gear would be from Gracie Grace at the T&T Emporium, but you’ll have to check in regularly to see when it’s available.

Since up to three other people can join your island in the game, you’ll have one to officiate, one to marry, and one as a best man/maid of honour. Of course, you can use Villagers to fill in the other roles.

If this is your plan, it might be best to organise the wedding on your birthday, since all the Villagers will be excited to see you, and give you gifts.

Pretend to Marry a Villager

Can You Get Married in Animal Crossing: New Leaf

This second scenario is a lot simpler than the first, but it’s also completely fake. You can’t marry a Villager in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, but you can make it look like you have. At least in your own head.

You can be give a picture of your favourite Villager. All you need to do is compliment them all the time, and see them every day.

Putting this somewhere in your home, with pride of place, will make it look like that Villager is married to you, and that you love them enough that you got a picture of them framed.

Really these are the only two ways that you can get married in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. I think that the developers might have considered adding the feature into the game at one point.

But then they must have reconsidered the system. I only believe this because it seems like a natural progression of the gameplay. Marriage is the natural evolution of relationships.

Just like how flowers are the natural evolution of watering seeds, which you can also do in the game.

Sorry to disappoint you if you thought that we’d give you a cool way of bypassing the game. We’d love to, but it won’t allow you to marry your favourite Villager.

Maybe the developers will add this into Animal Crossing: New Horizons one day. For now there’s just no hope of it ever really happening in New Leaf.
