The new seasonal event Revenge of the Cartels is live for Borderlands 3 and it brings 18 new challenges for us to complete. Challenges give you various rewards in Borderlands 3. In this guide, we will explain how to complete the Revenge of the Cartels challenges and what rewards you get for your troubles.
Borderlands3 Revenge of the Cartels Challanges
As I said, there are 18 challenges for Borderlands 3 players in the new seasonal event. Challenges range from completing hidden puzzles to defeating a named boss. You don’t have to complete all 18 challenges to get rewards. Completing a certain amount of challenges would still get you some of the rewards.
The following is the list of all challenges in Borderlands 3 seasonal events and how to complete them.
The King of Purple
To complete this challenge you need to take down the boss. Locate Joey Ultraviolet and after a brief boss fight, kill him to complete this Borderlands 3 Revenge of the Catels challenge.
Mr. Good Stuff
The next challenge is pretty much the same as the first one but with a twist. You need to defeat Joey Ultraviolet in Mayhem 1 or higher 10 times. The boss battle becomes much harder as you crack up the Mayhem.
Pupsicles
Find and kill 30 CryoSec Frontrunners using Crypto Damage. Many weapons in the game have Cryo Damage so use the ones that do to complete this Revenge of the Cartels challenge.
Three Minutes of PLAAAYTIME
This is a time challenge in which you need to take down Joey Ultraviolet in under 3 minutes.
That’s Grape Candy
One of the things you will be doing a lot in this Seasonal Event is smashing Eridium dust piles to collect Eridium. The good thing is that doing smashing them would contribute to the completion of this challenge. Smash 500 Eridium dust piles.
Can’t Touch This
You need to defeat Joey Ultraviolet again but this time you need to do it without taking damage from laser or corrosive traps.
Every Mansion Needs a Puzzle
There is a puzzle hidden in the mansion of Ultraviolet. You need to find and complete this puzzle and in doing so also complete this challenge as well.
Marking Your Territory
To complete this challenge you can go to the Ultraviolet mansion and find all the golden toilets. Well, you also need to use the toilets since this is Borderlands 3 and things always need to be weird.
M-M-M-Mobsterkill
Next in the Borderlands 3 Revenge of the Cartels challenges list, we have M-M-M-Mobsterkill. This will take a while to complete since you need to kill 800 Cartel gang members.
Flawless Victory
To complete this challenge you need to be done with the Revenge of the Cartels mission without dying. It is easier said than done, good thing you have enough time to complete this one.
Six Feet Underbosses
Kill all of the Cartel Underbosses to complete this Borderlands 3 Revenge of the Cartels challenge.
Locked in Here with Me
You need to kill 6 underbosses in one map playthrough.
Mayhaps Mayhem May Help
Takedown 25 Underbosses in Mayhem 1 or higher.
Never Slap a Slapper
This is probably a weird challenge but Borderlands 3 has plenty of them, don’t they? Kill Fish Slap with a slap three times. Use melee damage, of course.
Seasoning in the Wound
The Tenderizer can heal itself and your goal is to kill it three times while it is healing.
Penetrating Testing
To complete this challenge you need to kill Franco Firewall using Cryo Spikes 3 times.
Sack Tap
To complete this Borderlands 3 Revenge of the Cartels challenge you need to shoot 25 meat sacks off Burnt Ends gang members.
And Your Lunch Money
The final one on the Revenge of the Cartels challenges list is And Your Lunch Money. You need to shoot 25 backpacks off Purpatrators Gang members.
