Call of Duty Warzone is both fun and boring at the same time, it depends on what mode are you playing. While Warzone Trios and Quads are fun, Call of Duty Warzone Solos is extremely sad and lonely. But the community has a solution to this major problem and if Activision listens, it may actually work.
Communication is a crucial element of Battle Royale games and the community wants to take it to a whole new level by introducing proximity chat to Warzone Solos. Not every one of us has a squad to play with, many new players have joined the gaming scene due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic and they mostly play alone. Unfortunately, the solos mode can be lonely and boring for such players. To counter this and introduce a little spice to Warzone solos, the proximity chat is one of the topmost requested features.
Call of Duty Warzone Proximity Chat Feature Will Spice Up Solos
Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds in its prime had this feature. Some of the best and funniest moments of PUBG happened because of the Proximity Chat. While it is a small feature, it can have a positive impact on the dull and bland state of Warzone Solos.
Proximity Chat will make Warzone Solos more social. Of course, not everyone will be interested in being social and making friends, the toxicity will flow through many. However, the silence on Verdansk outweighs the downsides of having this feature. For the time being Infinity Ward hasn’t said a word on Proximity Chat and I doubt it will. The developer currently has its hands full with hackers in Call of Duty Modern Warfare. In the past two months, the number of hackers in Modern Warfare has skyrocketed. The community as well as some of the top streamers are complaining about the recent uptick in hackers. Especially towards the end of a Call of Duty season, we see more hackers coming to ruin it for everyone. Shipment is plagued with hackers during the final days of a Call of Duty season because this map is the easiest and fastest way to farm XP before the next battle pass drops.
