If you interact with your Prismatic Recaster in Destiny 2 Season of Arrivals, you should be able to see a quest called “Means to an End”. You must complete this in order to start the “Interference” mission on Io, this week’s seasonal mission. With the help of this guide, you will be able to learn everything you need to know about completing Means to an End questline in Destiny 2 Season of Arrivals.
Destiny 2 Season of Arrivals Means to an End
To start the quest, you will need to speak to Drifter in the Tower who will ask you to accept it from the Prismatic Recaster. Once accepted, you will need to complete the following steps:
Barrier to Entry
Chances are you will already have completed 75% or more of this step by the time you get to it. What you need to do is complete the new Contact PE on Io. This PE is essentially Gambit without Invaders trying to ruin your day or the other way round.
If you want a TL;DR: you kill a bunch of stuff, collect the motes, deposit them, and get rid of anything blocking the bank. The more waves you complete, the quicker you will complete the step.
Force
This one requires you to collect a bunch of Umbral Traces by defeating enemies in Nightfall: The Ordeal, Nightmare Hunts, and/or Control. You can choose to go with anything you prefer. I played the 750 Nightfall: The Ordeal with my friends and we all were done with it in a single playthrough.
Perseverance
This one is as simple as it can get. To complete this step, you need to play and complete the Cradle Descent mission Io. It is a pretty great mission that I do not want to spoil for anyone. Besides, there is not much to talk about it anyway. Once you are done with the mission, speak to the NPC and receive your rewards.
This is how you can complete Means to an End in Destiny 2 Season of Arrivals.
