With this quick guide for how to get the Prywden to spawn though, you just can’t go wrong.

If you’ve played through Fallout 4 a few times then you definitely know what the Prywden is. If you’ve never played it however, you’re in for a real treat, as long as you get it to appear.

How to Get the Prydwen to Spawn

What is the Prydwen?

Let’s quickly look at what the Prywden is before we tackle getting it to spawn. This is the Brotherhood of Steel’s giant armoured airship that will fly over the Commonwealth once you’ve got it to spawn.

It serves a few different roles for the Brotherhood of Steel in the area, such as acting as an aircraft carrier, a clinic, a command centre, a research facility, an equipment research bay, and even personnel quarters for the area.

How to Get the Prydwen to Spawn

Now that you know what it is, how do you get it to appear? Well, outside of console commands, which will work in getting the airship to appear, there are certain triggers that will cause the airship to spawn.

The first, and most obvious to Fallout 4 veterans, is as part of the quest ‘Reunions’.

Once you complete this quest, the airship is meant to show up and moor at the air traffic control tower at Boston Airport, a location in the game, shortly after you leave Fort Hagen.

All of this is part of the quest, so if you pick it up then you’ll be on your way to seeing Prydwen.

In order to pick up the quest, ‘Reunions’, you just need to follow the main questline in Fallout 4.

The quest is automatically unlocked once you’ve completed the quest called ‘Getting a Clue’ in the Diamond City Market. It’s really quite simple, and you just follow Dogmeat to do it.

What if the Prywden Doesn’t Spawn?

Some players have reported that the Prywden won’t spawn, and if that’s you then don’t worry. You can trigger the airship spawning by heading to Fort Hagen and opening the door that you would normally leave through in ‘Reunions’.

Be warned though, this could mess up your save file, so it’s probably best to make a safety save when you start ‘Reunions’ just so that you can go back to it if things get funky with the Prywden spawning.

That’s everything that you need to know about getting the Prywden to spawn in Fallout 4. Let us know how you get on with it in the comments.
