Borderlands 3 Revenge Of The Cartels Event is now live and in this guide, we are going to go over how you can start this event. The event is free for everyone you can play it until June 4. During the event, you will help Maurice who has gotten in trouble with some shady characters.
To start the Borderlands 3 Revenge Of The Cartels Event you need to head over to Maurice in the Sanctuary. Talk to him and you will get a repeatable quest. This means that that event has started. Complete the mission and you will be able to visit Villa Ultraviolent. This is the home of Joey Ultraviolent, the leader of the Cartel.
You have to track down Cartel operatives. They stand out with their neon colors. Killing the Cartel operatives will spawn Cartel thugs. Defeat them and you will get the hideout coordinates. You need to get enough of these coordinates so that Maurice can open a portal for you to get to Joey Ultraviolent.
During the event, there are going to be plenty of challenges that you can complete in order to get rewards. The following are some of them and their rewards:
- 3 Challenges: ‘VECH-tor Graphics’ ECHO Device Skin
- 6 Challenges: ‘Retro Outrunner’ Weapon Trinket
- 10 Challenges: ‘Framed Firewall’ Room Decoration
- 14 Challenges: ‘Hotline Pandora’ Vault Hunter Head
- 18 Challenges: ‘Death by Filigrees’ Vault Hunter Skin
