Item Seeds in Trials of Mana can be used to obtain rare items such as weapons, armor, accessories, and EXP boosting items. There are five types of Item Seeds that you can find in Trails of Mana. In this guide, we will give an overview of all these items and the best places to farm them in the remake.
As the name suggests, Items Seeds in the game can be planted in the magic pots at the inns to acquire rare items. The more Item Seeds you plant in the game, the higher your Planter Level will be. Because of this, it is recommended to plant as many Item Seeds as possible.
With a higher Planter Level, you will not have a better chance at harvesting rarer items from the magic pots but enemies will also drop rarer Item Seeds. The following is an overview of all the types of Item Seeds in the game:
1. Item Seed
You can obtain this one from Rabites and Goblins. When planted, these items have a relatively low chance of giving you rare items.
2. Silver Item Seed
To farm these items, you should consider heading toward the Frostbite Fields and get them from Sahagin. When planted, these items have a decent enough chance of providing you with a rare item.
3. Gold Item Seed
When planted, these items have a very high chance of providing you with a rare item. Farming locations to be updated!
4. Rainbow Item Seed
This item has the best chances of giving you a rare item in the game. To farm these items, you will need to kill enemies such as Nightblades, Wolf Lords, and Lesser Demons – basically all the high-level enemies that you encounter near the end-game.
5. Class-Change Item Seeds
With a Class-Change Item Seeds, you can get a class change item from the magic pots at the inns. Similar to Rainbow Item Seeds, these can also be acquired from high-level enemies during the end-game or from the treasure chests found in various dungeons.
